I was born and grew up in Stone Town and I now live at Meya in Zanzibar Island, I have working with Tima Tours for 12 years and I was introduced to tourism by Salum Mkubwa, our Managing Director. It has been a great pleasure working with Tima Tours and Safaris for many years and I am grateful for the milestones that the company has achieved over the years. We have a very cooperative team with a desire to perform their duties with efficiency and honesty which helps with achieving quality standards by carefully planning very suitable Zanzibar holidays for our clients as well as hosting them well from the time they arrive until their departure.
As a driver, I enjoy meeting new people from overseas, listening to them allows me to understand them which helps in carrying out my tasks in the best fitting way, for them to enjoy their time on Zanzibar Island completely. I also appreciate studying different environments within the Zanzibar Archipelago and the mainland Tanzania which helps with acquiring necessary knowledge to not only share with travellers but with my family members and locals around Zanzibar which is indeed an Island that needs conscious environmental sustenance to support us human dwellers, wildlife, the marine life in the sea and the beautiful coral reefs that spread around the Islands of the Zanzibar Archipelago.
The best authentic experiences in Zanzibar are going on a Spice Tour to the spice farms and visiting the Jozani Forest on a half-day from either Stone Town or Kizimkazi area in Zanzibar Island. Diving is another special experience that is very special for visitors since it allows them to see the world from a different perspective when they go underwater. Zanzibar has some of the world’s most pristine diving sites and Mnemba Atoll in particular, is very suitable for exploring; its reef is home to a startling diversity of tropical fish and resident pod of bottlenose dolphins and it has been regularly voted as one of the best snorkelling and dive sites off the African coast.
During my free time, I like to spend time with my family and have good conversations while unwinding at the Forodhani Gardens in Stone Town.
